Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s relationship has successfully managed to sail through turbulent waters. The royal sisters have had a relationship that was no less than a rollercoaster ride.

During an interview with Vogue in 2018, Beatrice revealed how the sisters fought over a pair of shoes. “One of the biggest fights we ever had was about a pair of Converse trainers,” she said. “We have the same size feet and both of us had identical pairs. One pair got trashed and the other sister may have swapped them.”

Thankfully, the sisters never let these fights come in the way of the rapport they share. Despite the ups and downs, Beatrice and Eugenie’s friendship is based on a solid foundation. The two of them always have each other’s back.

“We’re each other’s rocks,” Eugenie told Vogue. “We’re the only other person in each other’s lives who can know exactly what the other one is going through.”

Recalling an incident that shattered the sisters, Princess Eugenie addressed a time when she and her sister hosted a garden party with their father, Prince Andrew, and the Not Forgotten Association at Buckingham Palace.

“There was a horrible article that had been written about Beatrice and she got really upset,” Eugenie said. “We were just about to step out and she had a bit of a wobble and cried. I was looking after her. And then about an hour later, I had a wobble and started crying and Bea was there for me.”

When it comes to their nature and characteristics, the royal sisters have always been poles apart. While Eugenie is the more outgoing and extrovert sister, Beatrice is the reserved one and holds back more.

“Beatrice is more serious and Eugenie is the outgoing extrovert, she’s so bubbly and fun,” a source told People. “Beatrice is more reserved and discreet. She holds back more, she is very polite, very well-educated but more formal and quiet in her personality, so I think it will be a very different wedding to Eugenie’s,” added the source.
