The Mexican actor is reportedly dating the Telemundo actress Kimberly Dos Ramos, who stars in the upcoming telenovela called "¿Quién Es Quién?" TVyNovelas is reporting that the Venezuelan beauty confirmed the news saying, "I am fine, I am happy with my heart, we'll see how things go." The couple allegedly met during a Telemundo award show and hit it off. It was also reported that Amaya and Dos Ramos spent time together during the holidays and she already met his family. Could this be a long-lasting relationship? We hope so as they make a stunning couple.

Rafael Amaya had a rough year when it was reported that he was rushed to the hospital following a drug overdose. The hospitalization happened as production of Season 4 of "El Señor De Los Cielos" was underway in Mexico. Production was halted following reports that star Amaya had a near death experience after a drug overdose. Since then, the actor has debunked the rumors that he was hospitalized for drugs and that it had to do with the stress and work overload of filming the series. "Yes, I was in the hospital for two days," he said in an interview. "I had a nervous breakdown due to fatigue and stress. I was about 10 months or almost 11 months working consecutively with no vacation. Like any other human being, I started to get sick. I started missing work and Telemundo and I decided that we needed a break and take life back to recharge energy. Go with family and forget Aurelio Casillas por a little bit and return as new."

Earlier in the year it was reported that Amaya broke up with her long-time girlfriend, fellow actress Angelica Celaya. They were both engaged to wed, but broke up after she allegedly cheated on him. Mexican tabloid magazine, TVNotas published an article reporting that there was a third person involved and it was Angélica that cheated on the "El Señor De Los Cielos" star. Celaya had been working on the NBC series "Constantine" in the U.S. while Amaya was in México working on the third season of the Telemundo series. Seems like the distance took a toll on the relationship and Angélica allegedly cozied up with co-star Matt Ryan who plays Constantine on the show based on DC comics characters.
