After a four-year wait, Paloma Mami is back, bolder, more empowered, and more animated than ever. Her new album, CÓDiGOS DE MUÑEKA, isn't just a sonic comeback, it's a full-blown aesthetic reinvention that blends reggaeton, manga, feminist power, and futuristic visuals. And now she's backed by Double P Management, the same powerhouse team behind global sensation Peso Pluma. So... is a musical anime starring Paloma Mami next?

"I'm finally here. I'm so happy and grateful that my fans and even new people discovering the album are loving it," Paloma toldLatin Times and ENSTARZ in an exclusive interview. Her second studio album features high-profile collaborations with Rauw Alejandro, Dani Lux, Pailita, Pablo Chill‑E, and El Jordan 23. But for Paloma, this wasn't just a checklist of trending names—it was deeply intentional.

"I'd been working on this for over two years," she said. "There was a moment where I needed to pause for my mental health. I took the break a human needs so I could come back and create from a better place."

11 Tracks, 11 Versions of Paloma

The title CÓDiGOS DE MUÑEKA ("Doll Codes") is layered with meaning. "There's a lot of feminine energy, empowerment, attitude, and versatility," she explained. "Like a doll—when you have a collection, each one has a different outfit, a different job, a different vibe."

And the number 11? It's not random. "I was born on November 11. It's always been my lucky number. My last album had 11 tracks too."

The visuals of the album take fans into Paloma's own anime universe. The cover art features her on top of a giant cherry, styled like a glam superhero. "I've always loved anime for its colors, the animation, the artwork. I'm a visual person. So being able to incorporate that into my music is so fun."

And yes, she's sneaking in little anime references: "I want to keep leaving easter eggs in my songs—tiny ways to show love to that world."

So when we asked her if she could ever see herself starring in an anime musical series, she laughed and said: "Give it a couple of years."

Rauw, Dani Lux, and Pure Intuition

Paloma's features weren't the result of strategy calls or label meetings. "When I was making the songs, I'd literally hear their names in my head," she said. "There was no one else who could fit these songs better. With Dani Lux, we made the track together in person, and it was so different from what he usually does. But it was perfect."

Born and raised in New York to Chilean parents, Paloma Mami doesn't just navigate different languages—she lives in them. "I used to say things wrong in both English and Spanish," she laughed. "But that's part of who I am. I shouldn't have to change the way I speak just to fit in."

The album is infused with that cultural duality—and even trilingual nuance. "I have codes that come from New York, from Chile, and from being in between. That's why the word 'code' felt essential."

A New Chapter with Peso Pluma's Team

Paloma revealed that she's now officially managed by Double P, the powerhouse behind Peso Pluma's meteoric rise. "I was without a manager for a long time. Most of my career I've done everything on my own, or with help from my family or someone at the label," she said. "But now I have the full team. It's a big change, and I already feel the difference."

With a reinvented sound, a visual identity built around empowerment and anime, and a heavyweight team behind her, Paloma Mami isn't just back—she's entering her most cinematic era yet.
