‘Riverdale’ Season 5 Finale Rumors: Another Character Leaving In Chapter Ninety-Five

“Riverdale” season 5 is nearing its finale and it appears there will be another twist happening in “Chapter Ninety-Five: Riverdale: RIP (?)”

For those who have followed “Riverdale” through past seasons, this is nothing new. Death of some characters normally happens although that may not necessarily follow. Considering most returned from different worlds, anyone exiting may be leaving but to focus on something else.

Below is a synopsis released by The CW for the season 5 finale of “Riverdale”:

"OUT WITH THE OLD - As the gang pick up the pieces after a rough year back in Riverdale, an incident at Pop's forces them to make a difficult decision about the future of the town. KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Madchen Amick, Mark Consuelos, Casey Cott, Vanessa Morgan, Charles Melton, Erinn Westbrook and Drew Ray Tanner star. Gabriel Correa directed the episode written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa & Greg Murray."

What only remains clear at this point is that the season finale will close at Pops.

The immediate guess is that someone is going to die again. If so, it will be anyone’s guess on what that “Riverdale” character will be. But a previous teaser by series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa may help.

"Forces are gathering for the ultimate battle between Good and Evil as the cameras begin to roll on #Riverdale Season Six," Aguirre-Sacasa wrote. "But who will stand on which side? And who will live, and who will die? Everything has been a prelude to this."

Lives were changed and most of the main characters have some hangups or new priorities. The relationships are still there and some could get a new twist heading into “Riverdale” season 6.

“Chapter Ninety-Five: RIVERDALE: RIP (?) airs on Oct. 6 on The CW in what could be an interesting and suspenseful prep for “Riverdale” season 6 set to come out on Nov. 16.
