Salma Hayek is a diva and we love her for it. The Mexican actress was a guest on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show and was asked a question about Donald Trump. As you know, the Republican front-runner to score the presidential nod has made his whole campaign about keeping out immigrants crossing the border illegally. His solution is to build a huge wall that ultimately will be paid by the Mexicans themselves. Jimmy brought the subject up to the “Frida” star by asking her if she had met him. Kimmel jokes that if he knew her, he would build a slide that would drop him right into Hayek’s town.
Salma Hayek said that she has met Donald Trump, but has not seen him ever since he started this new phase of his entertainment career. “I feel like you are the only person that could talk any sense into him,” Kimmel told her. “If you speak, he is going to listen.” Salma was not too sure that Trump would listen to her. This is where she comes up with the perfect solution to have the former “The Apprentice” host come into his sense. We’ve all tried to talk to Donald and make him reason and see that his view is not right and exclusionary. “You don’t need to talk sense in to him. Everybody is entitled to their own madness,” she said. “You need to talk sense into the people who are not seeing the madness.”
That’s genius Salma! All we have to do to stop this man from even scoring the nod at the Republican convention is to reason with his followers. The people that are voting for him are the people that we should be talking to, to find out why they feel this wall should be built, that will not resolve anything.
