Selena Gomez, Brad Pitt Caught Flirting? Gomez Responsible For Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt Divorce, Report Says

Selena Gomez and Brad Pitt's closeness may have led to the latter's split with his wife Angelina Jolie, a new report claims. The news comes as Jolie and Pitt confirmed Tuesday that they were ending their marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

Since the news broke, several rumors have surfaced speculating the reason for their split, with the most recent one linking Gomez to it. According to a Radar Online report, Gomez found it difficult to keep her hands off Pitt and the two were spotted getting cozy with each other earlier this year.

According to reports, Jolie got very furious after learning about Pitt and Gomez, and this incident may have led to an end to their marriage.

“Angie blew a gasket when she saw Selena’s Instagram, and heard through friends about how brad and Selena flirted so shamelessly,” according to a source. “Now Selena is bragging to everyone that Brad is gung ho to make another movie with her ... Selena is going around jokingly calling Brad ‘my future husband,’ and Angie is obviously none too pleased.”

However, Gossip Cop debunked the report, saying that Gomez and Pitt did not cozy up together.

Jolie and Pitt, who got married in August 2014, are ending their marriage after several months of rumors surrounding their fights and the "World War Z" star's alleged cheating.

In the divorce filing, Jolie is seeking the physical custody of their six children and has asked the court to grant Pitt visitation. She has also asked the court to grant her to keep "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects" as well as any earnings from after the date of their separation.

"I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids," Pitt said Tuesday in a statement to People magazine. "I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."

Jolie also released a statement addressing the divorce. "This decision was made for the health of the family," the actress' attorney reportedly said. "She will not be commenting at this time, and asks that the family be given their privacy during this difficult time."

Over the last few months, rumors surfaced that Jolie and Pitt's marriage was going through a rough phase. Reports also claimed that the 41-year-old was suffering from some serious health issue as she had a drastic weight loss to about 79 pounds. Jolie's health crisis was speculated to be an outcome of their troubled marriage.
