'Su Nombre Era Dolores, La Jenn Que Yo Conocí' Univision Series

Luz Ramos went through a complete physical transformation to give life to Jenni Rivera in "Su Nombre Era Dolores, La Jenn Que Yo Conocí." The Univision series will pay tribute to the late Regional Mexican star that a turbulant life that tragically ended in an airplane accident.

"Su Nombre Era Dolores, La Jenn Que Yo Conocí" premieres on Univision, Sunday, January 15 at 8pm ET/7pm CT. Viewers will have the opportunity to stream it with Univision Now that is available for mobile devices as well as through the official website. The service does have a fee but if you're a new user you can use the free-trial to watch Episode 1 of the series.

The series has been extremely controversial since its inception since its based on a book by Pete Salgado, Rivera's former manager. Jenni's family is not backing up the project and did not offer any input as to what is being said in the series. The Rivera family even tried to stop broadcast and production of the series, but were not able to. They are planning their own telling of Jenni Rivera's life with Telemundo.
