“Thor: The Dark World” trailer was released today and now I am even more excited for the return of Thor. The trailer gives us a glimpse of Thor’s home of Asgard, and it seems like in the film will we get an even more in-depth look at the different and elaborate world. Thor will face off against the Malekith, who are threatening Earth with total darkness. At the very end of the trailer, we catch Loki looking less god-like and more like an old Rock and Roll star, it seems the two enemy brothers must team up to save their home planet. Check out the trailer below but don’t hold your breath because “Thor: The Dark World” isn’t released until November 8, 2013 in the US.

Another highly anticipated Superhero movie is “Iron Man 3” starring Robert Downey Jr. as our favorite love to hate hero, Tony Stark. I am a huge fan of Stark’s egotistical humor that “Iron Man “3 is absolutely my favorite superhero movie due out in 2013. The tone of this movie seems darker than our past experiences with Iron Man, the hooded villain possess a bit of a Joker-esque voice. The villain is a proclaimed “terrorist and teacher” so this Iron Man may hold more significance with the recent terror attacks on US soil. Stark talks about the need for revenge and we are guessing that this reaction has something to do with Miss Pepper Potts. “Iron Man 3” is set to be released in the US on May 3, 2013.

“Man of Steel” is a new Superman movie and it may just be the best one yet. Set to be released on June 14, 2013 and starring Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Supermans biological father and Henry Cavill as Superman, “Man of Steel” is sure to excite Superman fans everywhere. The trailer is affectionately tender and sweet in the beginning with an artistic and soft description of the war that plagued Superman’s home, we then see an adolescent Clark Kent desperately asking his adopted father if he “can’t I just keep pretending I’m your son?’ The Zack Snyder directed film seems epic and magnificence living up to everything that Superman is. Russell Crowe’s inspiring voiceover will give you chills; check out the amazing trailer below!

Last but certainly not least, this summer we are once again going to see Hugh Jackman grace the screen as Wolverine in “The Wolverine.” The main idea proposed in the trailer is that Wolverine wishes to finally be mortal; Wolverine visits a man he saved and travels to modern-day Japan. The man he saved proposes that he can give him the gift of mortality, but as Wolverine struggles with this decision we see that begins to feel and is actually vulnerable. The fight scenes seems even more epic than past “X-Men” films with the inclusions of Wolverine’s pain and samurai swords. “The Wolverine” is set for release in the US on July 25, 2013.
