The divorce between Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, rumored to be happening for months, was quickly resolved.

Brady and Bundchen filed for divorce in Florida on Friday morning, formally ending their 13-year union. According to PEOPLE, they split up a month before to filing and finalized the paperwork on the same day.

Retired judge Anthony Bompiani mentioned in a report from The Sun that the couple had a significant motive for getting a divorce fast and privately, which is why the process went well.

Bompiani added the couple wanted to keep their separation private.

"It doesn't seem like either of them have that type of personality, but divorce and custody battles can bring out the worst in human beings. "There have been other celebrity divorces like Kanye and Kim where they litigated through the public. This is always a bad move and can be catastrophic to the progress of a case," he went on.

According to the former judge, Brady and Bundchen could have committed a serious error if they had revealed the specifics of their divorce to the public. Fortunately, they avoided hurting one other's reputation in any way.

He continued by expressing concern that secret information may have jeopardized their desire for a peaceful resolution.

Bompiani made her remarks after a source told Us Weekly that the former couple knew they were divorcing a month before the paperwork was filed since they had already called it quits.

According to the insider, Brady and Bundchen made the decision to stop their relationship a month before finalizing their divorce. They reportedly tried to work it out but couldn't save their marriage.

They resolved to cooperate to resolve divorce-related issues after failing to save their relationship.

Brady and Bundchen have subsequently spoken out about their separation, with the model reportedly making fun of her ex-husband.

The NFL player mentioned how lucky they are to have such lovely kids, but Bundchen emphasized that her top priority has always been and always will be their children.

Brady's absence from the family had always been a problem, and Bundchen had urged him to spend more time with them before getting a divorce. She wanted him to spend more time with his family, but that never happened, aside from her worries about his health.
