The season finale of “Under the Dome” is finally here and we are excited! The CBS TV series “Under the Dome,” is based on the book by Stephen King about a town trapped under a mysterious dome, and as season 1 comes to a close there will be even more drama. Tonight’s episode is entitled, “Curtains” and while the closing of a curtain means the end of a show, we think tonight’s episode will have a ton of cliffhangers to hold us over until next summer’s Season 2.
“Curtains” synopsis provided some insight about what we should expect for tonight’s episode. True secrets of the dome are revealed in tonight finale episode, and even though Big Jim is determined to be finished with Barbie once and for all, we are all wondering if he will actually succeed? Also in tonight’s episode Junior, Angie, Joe and Norrie discover just who the Monarch really is after receiving quite the shocking visit from an eerily familiar face.
With the end of the season drawing dangerously near fans are clamoring for some vital answers. The main one being, what exactly will happen to the mini-dome? For multiple weeks, fans have watched as the mini-dome reminds the characters that “the monarch will be crowned.” But what does it all mean? The synopsis gives us some insight that the monarch will be discovered in tonight’s episode, but the true question is will he/she be crowned? Will the mini-dome create a newly hatched monarch to rule over Chester's Mill or will the mini-dome unveil the prophesied leader and assist him/her with power?
Lastly, we want some answers about Barbie! Big Jim and the government both seem overly intrigued with Barbie, why is he that great? The government's radio transmission indicated Barbie as the “one we've been looking for” and the only one with “the necessary expertise” regarding the egg, so what has Barbie done in his life to gain this so-called expertise and who is he really?
