USA embarks on their second match of the 2015 Women’s World Cup in Canada this Friday, when they square off against Sweden at 7:00PM EST. The USWNT has received a copious amount of pressure this tournament as they are expected to make it to their second consecutive World Cup Final. Despite the team ultimately defeating a tough and talented Australia team 3-1in their opening match. The general consensus among players is that they must improve in a number of areas before taking on another tricky test in the form of Sweden on Friday.

The United States team have said that they come to Canada with only one goal in mind: to claim their third Women’s World Cup after a heartbreaking loss in last competition in Germany in 2011 against Japan on penalties. USA has two titles (1991 and 1999). American girls are the favorites to get the victory this second match.
