Gavin Rossdale recently opened up about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship. The musician was married to Stefani for 20 years before they called it quits in 2015.

While speaking with InTouch Weekly, Rossdale said that he just wants his ex-wife to be happy. Stefani and Blake started dating each other after working together on “The Voice” and shortly after their split from their respective partners.

At present, Stefani and Rossdale share joint custody of their three children together, namely, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. The three kids also have a special bond with Shelton.

“You know, we both manage to feed them and get them to school on time, more or less,” Rossdale said. “They are doing really good. They’re really happy, and that’s it. We’re doing the best we can,” he added.

In the past, rumors swirled that Stefani and Shelton’s relationship won’t last because they appeared to be each other’s rebound. Stefani was still in the process of divorcing Rossdale when she dated Shelton. The country artist was also in the process of divorcing from Miranda Lambert four years ago. But according to “The Voice” coach, even he was surprised at how his relationship with Stefani has grown and flourished.

“When I was going through my divorce, I hit rock bottom, just like anybody does when they go through something that devastating,” Shelton told Sunday Today. “It’s a miracle that I met somebody that was going through the same exact thing that I was at the exact same moment in time,” he added.

And during an interview with Today, Shelton also admitted that he didn’t expect to get close to his girlfriend’s three children. But he said that their relationship has been nothing but fun.

Shelton admitted that he had already put off having children, but it’s as if he has three children of his own now after meeting Stefani’s kids. Shelton and Stefani both said that they want to get married again, but they’re still not engaged.
