Kate Middleton has been working doubly harder after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their exit from the royal family and stepping back from their royal duties. But while the Duchess of Cambridge obviously has more food on her plate now, royal experts observed that she is thriving well despite the absence of the Sussexes.

Marlene Koenig, a royal expert on British and European Monarch, shared that with the former “Suits” actress out of the palace, Kate could step forward and boost her role as the future Queen consort. This is because she will have more opportunities to show how she can handle things and what else she can do.

Moreover, according to Insider, the departure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can propel Kate Middleton for a more superior role in the royal family. As the citizens can already see, as Meghan and Harry spend time in North America, her duties just expanded and she is busier than ever and this could be a time for her to shine.

"We're going to see her emerge from that chrysalis and have her time to shine in her own way," Koenig told the publication.

Another royal observer, Richard Fitzwilliams also said that the public’s perception of Kate Middleton will greatly improve as she has been addressing and doing her works smoothly post-Megxit. The Duchess of Cambridge is also expected to show more of her hardworking side as she tackles various issues that may arise while she carries out her duties.

"In the wake of Megxit and Prince Andrew's disgrace the royal family has had its worst period since the 1990s," he told the Express. "Yet it is unwise ever to underestimate its capacity to reinvent itself. This has been a period which Kate has handled impeccably and imaginatively.”

He further notes that Kate Middleton was able to handle the catastrophic commotion that the Sussexes made when they suddenly announced their departure and she did it gracefully. She also remained focused on her duties despite the unexpected disruptions.

“Her latest engagement was a fine example of how she combined her commitment to children’s welfare with her creative side,” Fitzwilliams went on to say. “She joined a workshop run by the National Portrait Gallery’s Hospital Programme which encourages creativity in children.

Finally, Meghan Markle’s exit from the royal family is an unfortunate event and could mean that Kate Middleton has to work more, but this could also improve her reputation as the public will see how fit she could be as the future Queen consort. In fact, the citizens are already praising her for her efforts to help iron out the chaos in the palace right now by dutifully attending to her royal duties.
