For a fifth year Apple has joined in recognizing World AIDS Day by coloring Apple logos on its retail locations around the world bright red.

World AIDS Day was established to represent the fight in preventing HIV and AIDS, as well as promoting healthy education of both diseases. Apple has been a long supporter of the worldwide event and has helped forward it with its line of (PRODUCT)RED accessories.

Apple Stores that will be participating in the event include the Bondi Junction near Sydney, Australia, the Brussels, Belgium location and Apple's flagship Fifth Avenue store in New York City. Meanwhile, yesterday the company launched a (PRODUCT)RED leather case for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus and they teamed up with iOS developer Supercell to offer an exclusive promotional event that will let players purchase rare in-game items.

Three of the developers popular titles – "Clash of Clans," "Boom Beach" and "Hay Day" – will offer a special in-app purchase until 8:00 a.m. PST on Friday, Dec. 4. In "Clash of Clans," players can buy (Pile of Gems)RED pack. "Boom Beach" will offer gamers the (Pile of Diamonds)RED pack, while "Hay Day" will offer a pack called (Bag of Diamonds)RED. Each pack is priced at $4.99 and 100 percent of proceeds will go toward the Global Fund to fight AIDS.
