USA returns to action, Tuesday, against Iran, in the final match of the group stage, at Al-Thumama Stadium in Al Thumama, Qatar. The USMNT will qualify for the knockout stage of the 2022 World Cup with a win over Iran. A loss or draw will send the Americans home.

It was the second World Cup stalemate between the USMNT and the Three Lions. A 1-1 draw at Royal Bafokeng Stadium, South Africa, was the outcome last time these two teams met at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
