Marvel's C B Cebulski confirms a radical "Attack on Titan" and Marvel superheroes crossover. CB Cebulski

On Monday, C.B. Cebulski, Senior Vice President of Creative & Creator Development at Marvel Comics, announced that a special "Attack on Titan" and Marvel Universe crossover is in the works in Japan for 2015. In a teaser illustration that was posted on Twitter by Cebulski, titans chase Spiderman in the streets of New York City!

"Attack on Titan" has been immensely popular in Japan, and all over the world, Not only does it deliver a intense storyline, but "Attack on Titan" also boasts some of the best combat animations ever seen in anime. It is no surprise that "Attack on Titan" caught the eye of C.B. Cebulski.

"I loved 'Marvel Team-Up' and 'What If?' as a kid. I would spend hours dremaing up my own crossovers & alternate reality stories," said Cebulski on Twitter. "As I got more into manga, I always imagined how cool it would be for the Marvel characters to cross into the pages of manga worlds.

"For many decades and multiple reasons, almost no manga, especially popular titles, crossed into other comic universes... until now! If you ever wondered, 'What if the titans from Hajime Isayama's 'Attack on Titan' attacked the Marvel universe?', you'll find out soon!"

It was difficult to believe in Cebulski's announcement on an "Attack on Titan" and Marvel universe crossover until we saw the illustration of Spidey and the titans, Now, we can't help but to pose this question: who would win in a battle between our friendly neighborhood Spiderman and humanity's strongest soldier, Levi Ackerman?

On one hand, Peter Parker's mutant powers give him incredible physical strength and endurance. His spider sense gives him one of the fastest reflexes in the Marvel universe. What's more, Spiderman can shoot his own webs, which act as both his weapon as well as his mode of aerial maneuverability.

While Levi Ackerman isn't a mutant, he is the most disciplined and the most successful member of the Survey Corps. Lore suggests that Levi's solo titan kill count is well past 100, far surpassing any other soldier. What's more, unlike Spiderman, Levi is skilled in the use of dual blades, perfect for slicing titans down to size.

Now it's your turn: who do you think is the greater fighter? Check out these awesome battle clips of Levi Ackerman and Spiderman in the videos below!
