Director Joss Whedon announced the title for the sequel to the well-received Marvel movie "The Avengers." The second film in the franchise featuring Captain America, Thor, Hulk and more of your favorite superheroes will be called "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

"Ultron" will be the main bad guy the Avengers have to take on and defeat before he wipes out the human race. Ultron is a robotic being that is practically indestructible. It is rumored that Vin Diesel will join the cast of the "Avengers" sequel as the title villain himself.

Diesel is active on his Facebook page, posting numerous photos of himself including one next to an "Avengers" comic book poster. Under the photo, Diesel wrote:

"Marvel meeting today...Only the people in the room can tell you what was discussed...P.s Thanks to our page, for pushing to make it happen...you know I get tunnel vision with my work...and after that meeting today...wow!"

Other news that came out of the Marvel panel at Comic-Con was the announcement of two new characters to the "Avengers" cast. Scarlet Witch and her brother Quicksilver will be featured in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Quicksilver will also be seen in "X-Men Days of Future Past."

Fans were thrilled by actor Tom Hiddelston who plays Loki in "Thor" and "The Avengers" when he showed up on stage in full costume and character. The lights went out and the actor's large voice came over the speakers,

"Humanity," he shouted. "Look how far you've fallen. Lining up in the heat. Chattering together in the dark-like beasts."

For the next few minutes "Loki" insulted the crowd commanding they shout his name. He finished his by telling the audience members to "Feast your eyes!"

Footage from "Thor: The Dark World" played, promising to be more fantastical than the first film. The god of thunder played by Chris Hemmsworth, tries to make peace with his brother Loki while battling off some nasty foes.

Following Hiddleston's dramatic entrance the panel for the upcoming sequel to "Captain America" including, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson and Emily Van Camp came out to tell fans about their new film.

2014 and 2015 will be action packed with Marvel Superhero movies. "X-Men Days of Future Past" will open May 23, 2014. "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" will open May 2015. "Captain America: The Winter Solider" hits theaters July 2014 and "Thor: The Dark World" will be out November 8, 2013.
