It finally happened, after rumors and speculation about a relationship, singer Chiquis Rivera and the member of Banda El Limón, Lorenzo Méndez, have addressed the gossip. The couple finally decided to confirm the news that many have suspected for months. "We are friends and there is nothing to tell yet," said the singer in 2016 in an interview with Televisa Espectáculos. But everything is different now!
Mendez, published in his Instagram account a photo where they are hugging each other, while Rivera receives a kiss from her boyfriend. "Two crazy people, with the same dream... in love with life... grateful to God. We love each other with the same passion," Mendez wrote next to the photo.
Moments later Chiquis Rivera published another photo in which they are sitting side by side smiling. In the caption of the image, the daughter of La Diva de La Banda, the late Jenni Rivera, invites all her fans to tune the reality show of the Rivera dynasty, "The Riveras."
During the episode, Chiquis reveals how well a women feels after the attention received from another person, and how they went from being simple friends with complicated agendas to trying to lead a loving relationship.
Lorenzo's love story has been a rocky road. The lead singer of the Original Banda El Limón was married in 2012 with Claudia Galván, but after two years, the relationship between Galvan and his ex-husband ended up involved in a domestic violence scandal for which he was arrested.
On the other hand, in love matters Chiquis has always tried to be very discreet. Even though it is possible to see her talk about the subject in the spin-off of I Love Jenni, The Riveras, aired on NBC Universe.
