Georgia Rep. Brian Jack deflected a high school student's question about President Donald Trump's skin tone during an impromptu interview at the Capitol.

The Republican lawmaker seemingly approached a group of high school students to allow them to interview him. One student then asked why the president is "so orange" in a TikTok video shared Monday.

"You know what, it's your perspective," Jack responded.

The rest of Jack's response was muffled, but the group was heard sharing a laugh.

Although many users were entertained by the interaction, some wondered why Jack didn't give an honest answer.

"Its your perspective? Does he mean he's color blind?" a TikTok user named Jessica wondered.

"It's a valid question yet they can't give a straight answer," another added.

"Skin color is a 'perspective'. Interesting statement from this administration," a third commented.

Another user sarcastically added, "Guys, remember, conservatives don't see color. Just individuals."

Several commenters also accused the politician of gaslighting the students.
