Athletes, actors, models, real housewives, a former boy band member, a meteorologist, and a controversial news anchor will be battling for the "DWTS Champion" title during this season of "Dancing With The Stars." Marla Maples, Mischa Barton, Antonio Brown, Doug Flutie, Wanya Morris, Paige VanZant, Von Miller, Geraldo Rivera, Kim Fields, Ginger Zee, Jodie Sweetin and Nyle DiMarco were confirmed to hit the ballroom for the upcoming 22nd second, which premieres March 21 on ABC.
While Rivera, Fields, Maples, and DiMarco are no strangers to the reality TV world, we’ll have to wait until the season premieres to see if they have what it takes on the dance floor. In previous seasons, athletes have proven to have better coordination when it comes to learning new moves but it’s just a matter of time until we find out if Brown, Flutie, Miller and VanZant can loosen up a little bit for the sake of competition.
The two most controversial characters this season are perhaps Rivera and Maples. The Fox News anchor is known for his heated arguments with fellow political commentators and we are looking forward to see how he handles himself during rehearsals and after hearing the judges’ critiques. The 52-year-old actress and TV personality could be targeted by the media for her previous marriage to GOP candidate Donald Trump, but let’s not forget people, they are all here to dance!
Another interesting pick this season is Nyle DiMarco. The 26-year-old model is the first-ever deaf winner of "ANTM" and made the headlines after announcing he was sexually fluid. Will he be able to succeed despite his hearing impairment?
