Since Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles married in 2005, there has been a growing interest in their sleeping arrangements. While some believe that they sleep in separate beds like Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, others think that they’re modern enough to sleep together at night.

Many years ago, followers of the royal family only knew Camilla as a homewrecker — the woman responsible for destroying the marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Since she officially became a royal in 2005, however, people’s general perception of her has changed for the better.

It’s no secret that Camilla is the longtime love of Prince Charles. Their love story started long before the Prince of Wales even met Princess Diana, yet their followers still don’t know much about her marriage to Prince Charles.

While younger royal couples like Prince William and Kate Middleton and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle most likely sleep together, Prince Charles and Camilla reportedly sleep in separate bedrooms.

Soon after their royal wedding, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall had three bedrooms at their Clarence House residence refurbished because they intended not to sleep together.

According to a source, however, that doesn’t mean that Prince Charles and Camilla haven’t slept together since their 2005 wedding. While each of them has a bedroom of their own, there’s reportedly a room in their Clarence House that’s intended for cosleeping.

“His Royal Highness has a room with a double bed, decorated to his own taste, then Camilla has her own room with a double bed, decorated just the way she likes it,” a source revealed. “In addition, they have a shared bedroom with a double bed that they can use whenever they like,” the source added.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s sleeping arrangement was different, however, unlike Prince Charles and Camilla, who had separate bedrooms after their wedding, Prince Charles and Princess Diana shared a bedroom and only slept in separate rooms when their marriage started to go south.

An old report claimed that Princess Diana wasn’t happy that they slept in separate rooms. She was said to have even tried to lure Prince Charles back to their marital bed once.
