A newlywed teen was abducted by her elderly neighbor who let her son rape the victim for around 15 days.

The 19-year-old victim mysteriously went missing from her home in the Khajuri village in Bhopal, India on Oct.30.

Her family members filed a missing person’s report after they failed to locate the teen.

Based on the complaint, the police began investigating and days later traced the woman’s location in Sahore, roughly about 30 miles from her home.

An investigation team arrived at the location and rescued the teen, following which she narrated her ordeal to the police.

The victim said her elderly neighbor had come to her home and invited her to join her and her son for a picnic.

The elderly woman then took the teen to Sahore, where she and her son kept the teen hostage for around 15 days. During that period, the victim alleged that the woman’s son abused her sexually, the Times of India reported.

Based on the victim’s statement, the police arrested the accused woman and her son. They were booked under charges of abduction and rape, police said.

This is an ongoing investigation and no further details were revealed at the time of this writing.

In a similar but unrelated incident, a 19-year-old newlywed woman was allegedly gang-raped and murdered by her husband’s cousin and his friend.

The teen victim’s body was found at Ghorwadeshwar Hills in Maharashtra, India on Sept.20.

The victim’s 25-year-old brother-in-law was arrested for allegedly raping and murdering the teen wife.

Police said the accused had earlier invited his newlywed cousin and his wife to his place. Once there the victim accompanied the main accused to visit an ancient cave temple on Ghorwadeshwar Hills.

There, the accused and his 24-year-old friend allegedly demanded sexual favors from her.

"When she refused, the duo allegedly raped and killed her by strangling her with a scarf. Once dead, they smashed her face with a stone to conceal her identity. The body was thrown behind the bushes on the hills," said Pimpri-Chinchwad police commissioner Krishna Prakash.
