The daughter of retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. could end up serving up to 20 years in jail for an alleged assault on the mother of rapper NBA Youngboy’s child.

The incident happened back in April when the singer and social media star allegedly stabbed a woman following an altercation involving the rapper, TMZ reported.

She was arrested in April 2020 for stabbing the victim, identified as Lapattra Lashai Jacobs. The stabbing happened at the house of NBA Youngboy in a heated dispute.

At the time, Mayweather was asked to leave the house by Jacobs. Instead, she allegedly took a knife and stabbed the mother twice.

Jacobs was brought to the hospital for treatment and had non-life-threatening injuries. However, it took Jacobs months to recover and it appears her injuries may be permanent.

The woman allegedly suffered serious damage to the tendons of her right hand, something that could be permanent. She initially demonstrated this when her cast was removed in May 2020.

NBA Youngboy has kids with both women. Mayweather is said to be head over heels over the rapper but this case puts a huge dent, not only in her career but her personal life.

Incidentally, NBA Youngboy is dealing with legal woes of his own. He was arrested in his Baton Rouge, Louisiana, hometown in connection to a massive drug bust in September 2020.

The rapper is facing one count of illegal possession of firearms by a felon and possession of an unregistered firearm. He has been in jail ever since and was recently denied bond by a judge who agreed with prosecutors that he is a danger to the community.

Mayweather gave birth to a child with NBA Youngboy in January as this was happening. The child was named Kantrell Lauden Jr., their first child together. In all the rapper has seven children at the age of 21.
