Lauren Wambles, known perhaps to some as former porn star Aubrey Gold, has been meted a 10-year sentence for her part in the murder of Raul Ambriz Guillen.

The 24-year-old woman pleaded no contest to one count of accessory after the fact to second-degree murder with a firearm in connection with the killing of Guillen, Florida State Attorney Larry Basford said according to a report.

It is believed that the murder was part of a drug deal that went wrong. The 51-year-old was reportedly shot in the back of the head on July 4, 2020, and then buried in a shallow grave in Holmes County.

Aside from Wambles, also found guilty was Jeremie Odell Peters for being an accessory after the fact to second-degree murder with a firearm. He was also charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree tampering with a witness on June 24.

The main suspect in the case is William Shane Parker who is charged with second-degree murder with a firearm. He is awaiting trial in the case.

Aside from the 10-year sentence, Wambles will also be subject to five years of felony probation after her release.

The 24-year-old woman shot to fame in the adult entertainment industry between 2015 and 2018. She has made over 30 porn flicks under the handle Aubrey Gold.

Parker is Wambles’ former boyfriend.

According to Sheriff John Tate of the Holmes County Police department in Florida, the case is complex and was all about drugs and money.

Police were alerted about the case of Guillen by the daughter of the victim, Rosa Ambriz. She apparently had a premonition that something bad happened to her dad when she spoke to a Texas newspaper.

“My father called my mother, his ex-wife, the day before he went missing and told my mother he was with people he believed to be dangerous, and he needed to get out of the situation," Rose said to the Dothan Eagle.

"He asked my mother for money, but she had just moved, and her mind was focused on other things at the time. She just told my father he needed to get out of the situation he might be in for his safety."

The decomposing body of Guillen was discovered on Aug. 25 and had a single gunshot wound to the back of the head.
