Fans of the post-apocalyptic action role-player "Fallout 4" and the racing video game "Forza Motorsport 6" will be pleased to learn that Microsoft has teamed with the publisher to bring another themed car to the racer.

Microsoft has announced it will bring the Chryslus Rocket '69 to "Forza Motorsport 6" this week for free. The "Fallout 4" inspired vehicle will be distributed as a free download code to anyone who has played either game while connected to Xbox Live, reports Gamesradar.

Xbox describes the Rocket '69 as a retro-futuristic vehicle with lines and performance that will take you from zero to "whoa" in a handful of seconds. The Chryslus Rocket ‘69 is a unique addition to any car collection featuring a custom Forzavista experience that details its history and lets players check out its features in astonishing detail.

Furthermore, Microsoft announced that it will be sending out Chryslus Rocket '69 codes through the Xbox Live messages, but the company notes that it may take up to seven days for those codes to arrive to players. Xbox One owners who purchase "Forza Motorsport 6" or "Fallout 4" as of April 14 to the end of the month will not receive their codes until sometime next month. Unfortunately, this isn't a cross-game expansion, so players will need to have "Forza Motorsport 6" to ride around in the Rocket '69 car.

This isn't the first automobile "Forza" has teamed up with "Fallout 4" to release. Just last year Microsoft and Forza developer Turn 10 Studios released the "Fallout" themed car the Vault-Tec 1956 Ford F100, which is a less sleek Vault-Tec skinned version of a '56 Ford F100.

You can check out the "Fallout 4" Chryslus Rocket ‘69 car in action below in the announcement trailer.

"Forza Motorsport 6" originally launched back in September 2015 for the Xbox One console.
