Hunter Biden allegedly dumped his ex-girlfriend after urging President Joe Biden's son to stop using illegal drugs, a grand jury investigating the tax probe heard.
A source familiar with her five-hour testimony told The New York Post that Zoe Kestan, 28, appeared before the panel in Wilmington, Delaware, on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
Kestan, a lingerie and textile designer, took the witness stand after an appearance by Lunden Roberts, a former stripper with whom Biden, 52, had an out-of-wedlock child.
When they attended a series of art show openings and parties on Manhattan's Lower East Side in 2018, officials investigated Kestan about Biden's movements and spending habits, according to the insider.
The insider said specific queries included what hotels Biden stayed at and whether Kestan understood where his money came from.
According to the source, Kestan testified about staying with Biden at high-end hotels. She named a few, such as the Four Seasons, Mercer, SIXTY SoHo, and Soho Grand in Manhattan and the Hollywood Roosevelt, NoMad, and Jeremy West Hollywood in Los Angeles.
Kestan allegedly said that Biden told her to withdraw "thousands of dollars at a time" from ATMs and gave her cash to buy clothing, lunches, and other goods. Still, she had no idea how he got the money.
Although Biden did not mention Kestan by name in his memoir, a 48-minute audio recording between the two of them was made public in October.
The recording's origin is unknown, although it appears to merge two talks at different times.
Kestan said in the recording that “one of my flaws, one of my devilish sides, is that I like to talk about things like you because I like to show off. Duh.”
She added, “Do you think that the night that we had sex, I wasn’t texting like three people being like: I’m lying in bed with this incredible man?”
After her name arose during their investigation into Hunter Biden, Meaww said federal officials tracked down Kestan at her apartment in New York City.
Authorities served her with a subpoena to testify before a grand jury.
The investigation is said to be focused on Biden's shady overseas business transactions.
According to a source familiar with Kestan's testimony, Biden apparently impregnated Lunden Roberts, who successfully sued him for fatherhood of her 3-year-old daughter shortly before meeting Kestan, whose birthdate was two days before Roberts' daughter's.
Biden never mentioned Roberts or their child to Kestan. She allegedly got "very furious" after finding that the President's son married Melissa Cohen, his second wife, in May 2019 following a six-day courtship.
Kestan allegedly told the jury that she was with him at the "craziest point of his life" and taught him that "painting was a terrific way to view a hopeful future, rather than doing drugs," and that she was "responsible for Biden's professed sobriety as well as his new job as a painter."
According to the insider, Kestan believes she was "dumped" following a romance in which Biden was "adamant" that she use birth control.
