Is Kanye West Dating Irina Shyak Amid Kim Kardashian Divorce?

Kanye West has found love again—almost. The rapper and supermodel Irina Shayk set tongues wagging after they celebrated his 44th birthday on Tuesday, at a picturesque getaway in France.

“They have known each other professionally for years. He started pursuing her a few weeks ago. West is a persuasive guy,” said a source to PEOPLE, revealing how the staycation at Villa La Coste lasted for three nights “He hung out with her in NYC before they celebrated his birthday in France,” added the source.

They arrived in New Jersey soon after the mini-retreat ended. While the two traveled on a private jet in Teterboro, NJ, together, they did not leave the airport with each other. An insider opened up to Page Six, and suggested that the two have been seeing each other for the past couple of weeks. “Kanye and Irina are seeing each other,” the insider added, as reported in the media outlet. “It’s casual at the moment, but they are into each other.”

By the looks of it, the Russian supermodel seems quite interested and apparently jumped at the opportunity of spending time with West in France though they aren’t officially dating.

Shayk has modeled for Yeezy and also featured in his music video for “Power.” The rumors of an alleged romance brewing between the rapper and the model come precisely four months since West’s estranged wife Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in February, putting an end to six years of marriage. On the upside, Kardashian and Shayk barely know each other so there isn’t any awkwardness there.

West and Kardashian share daughters North, 7, Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, Psalm, 2 and will be co-parenting them all through. Shayk is a parent too, from her previous partner Bradley Cooper, with whom she shares a three-year-old daughter Lea De Seine Cooper. She was also in a relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo.

While West seems to be open to seeing other women at the moment, it’s certain Kardashian harbors no ill feelings for her ex-husband. In a recent post, the reality star shared a short, sweet post for West's birthday. “Happy Birthday,” Kardashian wrote on Instagram, posting a photo of herself with West and several of their children. “Love U for Life! _.”
