"La Tempestad" will air its last episode this Friday, November 15 on the Univision network. The soap starring William Levy and former Miss Universe Ximena Navarrete comes to a close. The grand final picks up with Esthercita (Laura Carmine), Damián (Levy) and Marina (Navarrete) atop an unfinished building. Esthercita drops a huge bomb on Damián telling him that he is not the father of her child, and he is the child of Ernesto Contreras (Manuel Ojeda). Everyone is surprised and stunned and Esthercita turns around and jumps off the building and finds herself with death while Marina "screams," No Esther! Damián says that it doesn't matter if the father of the son is Ernesto, he will always be his father.
We last saw Hernán (Iván Sánchez) taken to a mental institution and in the last episode of "La Tempestad" he breaks free, killing one of the guardsmen. He dresses up as a nurse and manages to escape the clinic where Ursula (Mariana Seoane) is waiting for him outside. Ursula tells Hernán that she wants to leave town, but Hernán wants to take revenge on Damián and kill him. Meanwhile, Fulgencio (Cesar Evora) arrives at the viewing for Esthercita and says that nobody is there because she was not a nice person. Fulgencio feels sorry for all the bad that he has done and for not being a good father. Hernán and Ursula arrive back the town and Ursula goes crazy on her man because he wants to go look for Marina. Hernán tries to calm Ursula down and explains his plans. She sits on his laps and tells her that in other circumstances they would have been a happy couple but..... he pulls out the gun and shoots her and dies.
Marina's twin sister, Magdalena (Ximena Navarrete) is out for dinner with Valentín (Mauricio Henao) where he tells her he will not be leaving town and will stay to work in the family business. Valentín then proposes to Magdalena and she accepts. Hernán shows up to the warehouse and Lazaro intercepts him and they both have words and punch each other. Hernán pulls out his fun and when this happens, Fulgencio arrives at the scene. Fulgencio knocks Hernán down, leaving him, apparently, unconscious. Lazaro is not well from all the punches he received from Hernán, as Fulgencio helps him getting up, Hernán wakes up and shoots Fulgencio while Lazaro hides behind him. Fulgencio, losing his life, tells Lazaro that he is proud of him. He was never a good father and he wants Lazaro to forgive him, which he does. Fulgencio then dies.
Hernán finally kidnaps Marina and takes her away in a small boat to his home where he ties her in a chair. Hernán then unties her and tells her he will get water for her. Marina takes advantage that he is gone to call Damián on her phone. When Hernán returns he see's her calling him and goes ballistic, starting a fire. Damián arrives to the home breaking down the door with an ax, causing drama, instead of maybe trying to break the door knob with the ax for an easier entrance. Damián finally goes in to save Marina and Hernán does not resist her leaving with the captain. Hernán tells Damián to make her happy, they leave, and we last see Hernán playing the violin as the house is on fire. Marina and Damián get married, leave on a boat for a honeymoon with both of their children and swear to love each other for eternity. THE END
