Miami is heating up with the Latin Billboard Music Awards 2016 on Telemundo. The musical bash is set to be one of the hottest in recent years. Gaby Espino and Pedro Fernández will host the show, while the cast members of "El Señor De Los Cielos," Rafael Amaya, Carmen Aub and Fernanda Castillo, will present awards. Also in the lineup to hand out trophies are Blanca Soto and Andy Samberg, who is expected to provide fun comedy relief during his stint. Other confirmed presenters inlcude Natalie Morales, Adriana Lima, Andres Cantor, Angélica Vale, Don Francisco, Dra. Ana María Polo, Edith Gonzalez, El Dasa, Giselle Blondet, Maria Celeste Arraras, Michael Buffer, Patricia Manterola, Raúl Gonzalez and many more.
Juan Gabriel will be honored during the award show with the Telemundo Star Award for his achievements as a recording artist. Gabriel is recognized worldwide as a singer, composer, producer, actor and philanthropist. His contribution to Latin music throughout the past 45 years is unparalleled. He has sold over 100 million copies of his albums and has performed sold-out concerts throughout the world. His songs have been interpreted by over 1,500 artists and groups, and have been translated to many languages. Marco Antonio Solís will also be honored during the night with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to music.
The Latin Billboard Music Awards 2016 will showcase musical magic, promising the viewers a huge treat with this year's collaborations between different artists. Alejandro Fernández is set to take the stage with his daughter Camila Fernández and will also join the legendary Gabriel. Lucero has been confirmed to perform alongside Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga, while Solis and Marc Anthony will pair up.
Another confirmed performer is Paulina Rubio, who will make her first appeareance since giving birth to her baby boy. Viewers should also look forward to seeing the performanaces of Alejandra Guzmán, Fanny Lu, Ha*Ash, Jencarlos Canela, Jesse & Joy, Kany Garcia, Paty Cantú, Natalia Jimenez, Alexis y Fido, Farruko, Gente De Zona, J Balvin, Zion & Lennox, Nicky Jam, El Dasa, Gerardo Ortiz, Luis Coronel, Roberto Tapia and many more.
The Latin Billboard Music Awards 2016 will air on Thursday, April 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the Telemundo network.
