A young man committed suicide in Delta State when he jumped over the Ugbokodo River in Warri South, Delta State. It appears he was dealing with some kind of mental issue and left a suicide note on his Whatsapp before taking his life.

The man was identified only as a certain Bobby Ese but popularly known as Aladja Chief Priest. According to sources, people close to Ese noticed from his WhatsApp a note that appeared to look like a suicide note. It read: "I will die today I hate family."

It appears that Ese did not intend to take his life by jumping over the river. When people checked out his pad, they noticed a rope hanging from the ceiling fan, something indicated in his status. Conclusions were made and it appeared that the young Nigerian man initially thought of hanging himself before changing his plans and jumping into the river.

Ese’s official age was not revealed. However, reports claim that he was suspected to be between 20 to 24 years old.

This comes not long after a previous report here on Latin Times that a Westport mother killed herself after drowning her 7-year-old daughter. She was identified as Tracy Do, a 46-year-old who died of seemingly self-inflicted “sharp-force injuries [to the] torso and extremities.”

Her young daughter, named Layla Malon was also found dead at the scene in what is being reported as a homicide. They were both found dead at home when Do’s other daughter came home to their $1.4-million mansion at Lyndale Park and Weston Road.

"At that point, the officers checked the interior of the house to see if there was anyone else inside, and unfortunately, that’s when they found the body of the seven-year-old child," Lt. David Wolf of the Westport Police Department said in an official report. "We spent a great deal of time processing the scene along with the state police major crimes, and we’re going to be continuing doing that throughout the day."
