A man in Minneapolis has been arrested on Friday, Nov. 12, after threatening to kill a TSA agent while swinging and throwing a stanchion line post to officers at the scene. He was also caught on camera masturbating and destroying TV screens before the incident.

Frank Towers, a 44-year-old man with three pending assault cases in Olmsted County, Minnesota, has been arrested after causing a disturbance incident in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport where he screamed that he was going to kill a TSA agent while swinging a stanchion line post towards other airport officers, ABC affiliate KSTP reported.

When he was asked to stop, he threw the stanchion line post and refused, saying that “it’s a free country.” The officers in the area proceeded to tase him, but he attempted to attack them as he was being restrained. Finally, he was subdued and handcuffed after backup law enforcement arrived, according to the New York Post.

Reviewing footage from earlier in the day, he was seen at 3 a.m. that morning headbutting and punching television screens across the airport. He also could be seen removing his clothes and masturbating at a certain point, KARE11 reported.

He is seen undressing and redressing again after an hour, throwing a chair out to an unknown area in aggression; finally, he is seen approaching TSA agents shortly before the confrontation occurred. The footage then contains the incident that got him arrested.

It is not known what he was doing inside the airport, nor why he wanted to kill a TSA agent. The cause for the outburst of the man is also unknown as of this time. The complaint said that Towers was given repeated warnings to stop before the tasers were deployed against him.

He is being charged with fourth-degree assault and threats of violence and is currently jailed in Hennepin County Jail with a $30,000 bond.
