DOGE Chair Greene Announces Hearing on USA Fencing Allowing Biological Men in Women's Events

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene again criticized President Donald Trump over their clash regarding the Epstein files, saying she and holdout other GOP lawmakers had to fight "against the most powerful people in the world, even the president."

"I was called a traitor by a man that I fought for 6 years for. I gave him my loyalty for free. I've never owed him anything. Let me tell you what a traitor is. A traitor is an American that serves foreign countries," Greene added.

"A patriot is an American who serves the U.S. and Americans like the women standing behind me. I want to tell you it only became possible today because the American people whom we serve as representatives demanded that this vote happen and they put more pressure on every single elected politician in the city that has ever been put on them."

The House is set to approve legislation to compel the Justice Department to release all records related to disgraced financier and abuser Jeffrey Epstein. "Almost everybody" will vote for it, said House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, following months of opposition from Trump and other Republicans. However, as momentum built to release the files, Trump said on Sunday night that House Republicans should vote for the bill.

"Some of the people that we mentioned are being looked at very seriously for their relationship to Jeffrey Epstein, but they were with him all the time — I wasn't. I wasn't at all," Trump said on Monday at the Oval Office.

"What I just don't want Epstein to do is detract from the great success of the Republican Party, including the fact that the Democrats are totally blamed for the shutdown," he added.
