Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene again slammed the Trump administration's operation in Venezuela, saying that its recent actions are not "America First."

Appearing on The View, Greene said that she went to "countless Trump rallies and stood on the stage with the president and stood on the stage with other Republican candidates and said 'America First.'"

"No more regime change, no more foreign wars, no more foreign intervention.' Enough of this. That's what America First means," she added.

She went on to say that "militarily invading a country, killing people in the process, arresting their leader and taking them out, then claiming this is for the Venezuelan people, and saying all the charges are about drugs, but then turning around and literally, every single statement is about Venezuelan oil and how it belongs to America ... it's not working."

Elsewhere in the interview, the former lawmaker claimed that the actions in Venezuela could be interpreted by Russia and China as a green light to "take" Ukraine and Taiwan.

Greene, who left Congress this week following her public fallout with President Donald Trump, has openly condemned the operation. Speaking to CNN's Kaitlan Collins, Greene warned about a potential fallout, saying past attempts at regime change have backfired.

She went on to say that it "is concerning to see what's happening and the direction that the Trump administration is moving in."

"We can say, thankfully, Maduro has been arrested. We can say we're happy for the Venezuelan people. But we can also look to all the regime changes before, in Iraq and Libya and Syria. And we said the same things for the people of those countries. But then we watch those countries fall into turmoil and civil war, and we have watched the rise of ISIS and terrorism," she added.

Greene went on to say that past experiences have shown "U.S. troops remain in those countries for a very long time and many flag-draped coffins come back home." "And that's what many Americans don't want to see happening," she said.

Greene had openly condemned the operation on Saturday, when it took place, rejecting it helped counter drug-trafficking. She added that she served on the Homeland Security Committee for the past three years and most of the fentanyl, which is responsible for 70% of U.S. overdose deaths, "comes from Mexican cartels made with chemical precursors from China and trafficked across the U.S. Mexico border."

"If U.S. military action and regime change in Venezuela was really about saving American lives from deadly drugs then why hasn't the Trump admin taken action against Mexican cartels?" Greene wondered.
