Two people abducted and gang-raped a 13-year-old child at Ramgarh Sardara village in Malaud, Khanna district, India.

Authorities identified the suspects as Kulwinder Singh, alias Kinda, and Baljit Singh, alias Gandhi, both of Ramgarh Sardara village.

Her uncle, who also served as the complainant, told Malaud police that the victim had to go "upstairs" to give an elder some food on May 9. However, two suspects, who stood near the stairs outside their home, stopped her. The guys asked her to join them.

"When my niece refused to go with them, they forcibly dragged her out of the house and took her to their 'motor room' at agricultural fields in the village where they both raped her," the uncle said per Tribune India.

He said that her niece was terrified when she returned home. When pressed for an explanation, she told him about the incident.

The victim went to the Khanna police station the next day and lodged a complaint against the two.

ASI Rajwant Kaur said per Nowslife that officials filed a case against the accused under Sections 342 (illegal detention), 363 (kidnapping), 376 (rape), and 377 (unnatural sex) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Police also conducted raids at their alleged locations.

Meanwhile, officials discovered a woman's body with her throat cut near a mullah at the MTNL junction in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) on Tuesday.

The incident was brought to the public's attention after some residents spotted the body and reported it to the police control room. The woman was raped before being killed, according to BKC police investigating the case.

A preliminary medical examination revealed that the woman's throat had been cut and that her private parts had been injured.

"A case under the Indian Penal Code sections for rape has been registered against unknown person/persons. Prima facie, it is suspected that the woman who is a sex worker may have been killed over some money matter," a police officer told Times of India.

The police are looking for CCTV footage from the entire stretch in order to track down the perpetrators who dumped the body near the nullah after the murder.
