A 33-year-old Mexican man, who is illegally in the US, was indicted by a Brooklyn grand jury for allegedly luring minor girls into filming porn videos, and now the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are looking for more victims.

According to a Tuesday federal court indictment, Rigorberto Garcia was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, and multiple counts of coercion and enticement, reported New York Post.

According to law enforcement sources, between 2014 to 2021, he promised his victims modeling work and enticed eight girls, and tried to fool four more, according to New York Daily News. After luring them, he would reportedly record them having sex in hotel rooms and other venues.

According to the indictment, he had many aliases like Nate Floriano, David Schineberg, Sean Alvarez, Steven Skyler and Chris Perez. Court documents revealed that none of his victims were 18 years old or older.

According to the indictment, police found digital images on devices seized from Garcia in January, and now he also faces a federal child porn possession charge. He allegedly sent across the illicit photographs to other states and nations.

FBI spokeswoman Amy Thoreson said, “We know there could be dozens, if not many more victims, and we hope to find them." She added that they are asking people who may have been victimized to call them.

Authorities said that when the indictment was unsealed, Garcia was already in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody.

In a separate incident, a man from New Iberia, Louisiana, shared child porn in an online chat, and will now serve six years in jail. According to a release from the Department of Justice, Spencer Legendre, 23, was sentenced Thursday. He will also be on supervised release for a decade and needs to pay $15,000 in restitution.

According to release, an undercover FBI agent engaged in a chat on a group on Kik, which is an instant messaging mobile app, referring to young girls. The agent noticed username “legend_re,” which was later identified to be Legendre, post child pornography photographs from the account over the internet.

His house was searched on Feb. 27 last year where he told investigators that he downloaded child pornography and distributed it using his account on the app. Several images of prepubescent child pornography were also found on his phone.
