A middle-aged licensed lawyer from Florida allegedly completely stripped naked at a bar after the establishment refused to serve her because she was too drunk and unruly.

Kelly Elkins, 49, was booked into the Pinellas County jail on Friday, Feb. 18, on a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, following her drunken binge at a bar where she allegedly stripped down completely naked after they refused to serve her. Less than 24 hours before the incident, she was released for allegedly boozing at a nearby Thai restaurant without paying, New York Post reported.

On Friday, just after 2:15 a.m, Elkins walked into the Lounge Bar in St. Petersburg and was “intoxicated to the point the manager refused to serve her.” Enraged, she then walked into the restroom and came back out into the bar unclothed and completely naked.

When the manager told her to put her clothes on and leave the establishment, she refused to do so, which prompted management to inform the police. When law enforcement arrived, Elkins was found uncooperative and naked in the bar and had to be told several times to get dressed. Even after several warnings, Elkins only put a zip-up hoodie on and refused to zip the shirt up. According to the officers and several witnesses, the defendant refused to put her pants on saying she was “too tired.”

Following the incident, Elkins has been charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and was released on her own recognizance.

This is Elkins' second time behind bars this week alone. In the early hours of Thursday, Feb. 17, she was charged with other misdemeanor charges for obtaining food or lodging with intent to defraud, the Daily Mail reported.

On Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 16, Elkins went to Nori Thai in St. Pete Beach and “consumed food and various alcoholic beverages.” When the bill came, she did not have the $38.25 to cover the check and instead offered her purse as payment.

Previously, in 2019, Elkins was picked up on a charge of driving under the influence after she was found drunk inside her BMW with the engine running. However, the charge was later downgraded to reckless driving.

Elkins, a graduate of John Marshall Law School, is still listed as a member of the Florida Bar, which she joined more than 20 years ago. She is also listed as a member in good standing with no history of disciplinary actions against her.

According to Elkins' LinkedIn profile, she is also a licensed real estate agent.
