Miranda Lambert has long since moved on from her split with Blake Shelton, who replaced her with fellow “The Voice” coach Gwen Stefani. In fact, she moved on a couple of times already, first with singer and songwriter Anderson East, whom she split from in 2018, and then to Evan Felker.

But that’s not yet the end of her eventful romantic life. Fans were shocked when People reported that the singer tied the knot in January this year. “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news,” the singer announced on social media. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched!”

“My heart is full,” she shared in her post, which also contains photos of her and her new husband. “Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for … Me,” she continued.

What surprised fans, even more, is that the lucky man, Brendan McLoughlin, has no connections to the music industry at all. Unlike Lambert’s previous romantic partners, who were all singers, McLoughlin is an NYPD officer, according to Nicki Swift.

Digging even further for more information on the newlyweds, Nicki Swift found even stranger details about Lambert’s new marriage. Apparently, Radar Online found a now-deleted Instagram post made by McLoughlin that reportedly showed the police officer holding a baby.

And it appears that the baby was indeed McLoughlin’s child. “Blessed to have a healthy son. Welcome my boy, Landon James McLoughlin 11/5/18,” the officer captioned the post.

The timing is a bit suspicious. Lambert first met her new husband on the set of “Good Morning America,” which means that the baby was born a mere three days after their first meeting. This made Nicky Swift question where the boy’s mother might be.

But Radar Online might have the answer why Lambert hastily got married. And it might have something to do with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, if reports are to be believed.

“Miranda suspected that Blake and his love, Gwen Stefani, are close to tying the knot and wanted to upstage her ex,” an insider told Radar Online.

But the publication can’t help but wonder if Lambert’s hasty decision might work in the long term. “They live completely different lives, almost a thousand miles apart,” the insider added. “She’s in Nashville and he’s in New York.”

This means that the time they can spend together is a bit limited. “She wants a baby before it’s too late,” the source added. “But Brendan can barely see her a couple of days a month.”

Lately, rumors are swirling around saying that Lambert’s marriage to McLoughlin might be on the rocks. According to reports, the two are giving each other the silent treatment and McLoughlin was reportedly spotted “with a bevy of babes in a Manhattan bar” while Lambert was “nursing drinks” alone in New York. This turned out to be fabricated, however, as confirmed by a source close to McLoughlin.
