Mystery Man Spotted Cycling In His Birthday Suit Revealed To Be From Nearby Derby

A cyclist in his birthday suit has been seen riding along the roads of Derbyshire in England, and now the man has revealed his identity.

A surprised man claimed to be the "pale, naked man" that had shocked people living in Ashbourne, reported Daily Star.

Stuart Gilmour from Manchester simply likes being naked and enjoys cycling in the Derbyshire Peak District. He told Derbyshire Live that he is a naturist who loves to be able to experience "everyday life without the restrictions of clothing and promoting body positivity." He supports the idea that it’s okay to be different. He also likes to meet "so many new people and making new friends while cycling." He shared that if he were clothed no one would bother him, but when in the "buff people are just genuinely intrigued and want to know more."

He shared that he was staying at a local campsite that was amazing, and that when the weather allows, he likes to get out on his bike in the buff as much as possible. He has also been on a few walks in the past, and he has never had a bad reaction. He said that it’s "always met with laughter or intrigue to know more."

To raise money for a cancer charity that his wife, Karen, works for, he is planning a "naked bike ride from Manchester to Chester possibly on to North Wales in the summer."

Gilmour was first seen on the morning of Easter Sunday, riding through the Peak District village of Fenny Bentley. Much to the amusement of those driving behind him, he was caught on camera riding through Ashbourne Tuesday.

It seems like not many people complained about him riding a bike in his birthday suit. A spokesperson for Derbyshire police said that they had got a call to report the cyclist on Tuesday morning, according to Derbyshire Live. The spokesperson shared that a member of the public had seen him riding in Ashbourne after which a local officer "searched for him but didn’t find him."

On Tuesday, Jade Meadows, a warehouse worker from Ashbourne, captured footage of Gilmour as he made his way through the town. The 20-year-old said that she was surprised to see him, but then again it is Ashbourne, and noted that quite a few "people have seen him in the town."
