NFL star Tarik Cohen reported his twin brother, Tyrell Cohen, missing and the answer to that was far from comforting. It appears the 25-year-old was avoiding the police for yet-to-be-known reasons but ended up getting electrocuted in the pursuit.

It was not made clear why local authorities were giving chase to Tyrell Cohen. However, reports claim that the twin brother of the Chicago Bears running back ended up getting electrocuted at the Duke Energy substation on Sunday morning near Lead Mine and Six Forks Roads at around 9:00 a.m. The body of the 25-year-old was found by an employee inside the perimeter, ABC 11 reported.

Per authorities, Tyrell was believed to be trying to climb equipment but ended up getting electrocuted.

The 25-year-old was reported missing by Tarik Cohen with the Raleigh Police Department as early as Saturday night after he did not come home. Per a tweet from the Bears RB, the last time that he saw his brother was on Friday at the Hero's Pub & Sandwich Shop. The establishment was just a five-minute drive away from where his body was found.

A traffic stop was put up on Saturday night by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol before Tyrell’s body was discovered. Foul play was ruled out of the 25-year-old’s death.

"We are heartbroken to learn of the death of Tarik Cohen's twin brother, Tyrell. Our immediate thoughts and prayers go out to Tarik, his mother, Tilwanda, and the rest of their family and loved ones,” read an official statement from the Chicago Bears Sunday night.

Tarik Cohen has yet to comment publicly on the untimely death of his brother. His tweets that stated his brother was missing have since been deleted. It has also yet to be known what the reason was for the alleged police pursuit.
