Dominican designer Oscar de la Renta is known for his classic, elegant, splendorous and romantic style, a mix of the calm warm breeze of the caribbean, with the exquisite and refined New York style.
It's no wonder that his collection at the New York International Bridal Week was so applauded, since he's one of the few people in the fashion world who's known for his wedding dresses, making every bride look magnificent and regal, each in their own style.
This time around, his line remained classic and fresh, in white, pink and pastel blue, adding gloves, ruffles, lace, flower details and paillettes.
The makeup was in charge of Mikey Castillo, director of Le Métier de Beauté, who used satin eye shadows, rose champagne eyeliner and subtle pink hues, taking his inspiration from Grace Kelly.
The hair was a show stopper, with braided, bejeweled updos that attracted the sights of the attendees.
