It’s the night we’ve all been waiting for. The 86th Academy Awards, now officially known as the Oscars are finally here! Nine movies are competing to win the Best Picture award and a very tight competition in the other categories. This night sure promises to reunite la crème de la crème of Hollywood. Ellen DeGeneres is hosting the award show at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with amazing performers also taking the stage to spice up the show.

Pink will make an appearance and perform, although it’s still not disclosed what song she will sing. Bette Midler is also confirmed to take the stage and impress us with her beautiful voice. Also taking the stage are U2, who will perform their song “Ordinary Love” from the film “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.”

Pharell Williams will sing his song “Happy” from “Despicable Me 2,” Idina Menzel will freeze us all in amazement when she takes the stage to sing “Let It Go” from “Frozen,” and Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeah will perform “Moon Song” from “Her” featuring Ezra Koening of Vampire Weekend on the acoustic guitar. Although we’re extremely excited about these musical numbers, and our dear Ellen as the host, we also can’t wait to see who will take home the statues.

That’s why we will be sharing the excitement and updating all the winners live, right here! So stick around and check the list out as it gets bigger and bigger and we reach the end to finally know which movie is the best of this season.
