Sony announces PlayStation Plus January lineup. Reuters

Sony is planning to kick off the new year right. The company has announced they will be giving some of 2013’s best games to PlayStation Plus subscribers come January 2014. Sony’s list of games includes titles for the PlayStation 4, the PS3 and PS Vita consoles. On the PS4 front Sony will be offering “Don’t Starve” as the free title for the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection throughout the month of January. On the PlayStation 3 side Sony will be offering three of 2013’s best games. “Bioshock Infiite,” “DmC: Devil May Cry” and “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons” will all be part of the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection. And if that isn’t enough PlayStation Vita owners will also get two games coming this January as part of the promotion. The Vita will see “Worms: Battle Island” and the cutting-edge brain game “Smart As...” as part of the January PlayStation Plus games list.

This recently announced list, however, is only for the U.S. PlayStation Plus subscribers. For European PlayStation Plus customers Sony has revealed that on the PS4 side customers will also get “Don’t Starve.” On the PS3 side fans will get both “DmC: Devil May Cry” and “Borderlands 2.” Finally Vita owners will be getting “Soul Sacrifice” and “Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend.” In order to get these games you must be a PlayStation Plus customer which is an annual fee of $49.99.
