RBD Without Maite Perroni: Husband Confirms Singer Will Not Rejoin the Group: "she won't participate in a project that involves abuse, theft, and mistreatment"

Andrés Tovar, the Mexican television producer and husband of actress and singer Maite Perroni, published a message on his X (Twitter) account in which he talks about his wife as an artist, her relationship with RBD and her fans, the legal lawsuits they are facing, and his personal situation, including the controversial beginning of their relationship.

The text appeared to be a response to attacks from Anahí and Dulce María's fans, who lashed out at Perroni after she posted a photo of herself holding a magazine featuring the members of RBD. The way she was holding it obscured Anahí's face, sparking outrage among many.

However, Tovar not only spoke about that topic, but also mentioned all the controversies in which both he and his daughter's mother have been involved.

When Tovar and Perroni began dating, the producer had recently separated from his ex-wife, actress Claudia Martín , which sparked a wave of infidelity rumors. "She (Maite) had nothing to do with it. I decided to end my relationship and my previous job in a timely manner because agreements weren't respected in both cases, and I wasn't happy. It was my own free will, nothing more," he expressed.

Tovar also addressed RBD, making it clear that the artist will not be returning to the group that gave her worldwide fame.

"Maite loves RBD, she loves RBD's music and RBD's fans, but she won't participate in a project that involves abuse, theft, and mistreatment, because her values are above money, even if she loses a project she loves and that she's entitled to as a part of."

In his text, the Mexican producer also referred to lawsuits against photographers, journalists, and even a television station. Here's his text:

In music: she alone has BILLIONS of views of her own music (even though she hasn't released a new song in many years, she remains at the top of the platforms).

In acting, her soap operas and series on platforms like Amazon and Netflix remain among the MOST VIEWED by MILLIONS, currently holding first place worldwide. (And she hasn't acted in over three years.) She has dedicated herself 100 percent to the most fulfilling stage of her life: being a mother. WE ARE A VERY HAPPY FAMILY. I understand that some people's frustration with life leads them to make comments that make them feel morally superior, but that's not the case. Please address your mental health issues in time.
