We’ve gotten to know Keke Palmer as Zayday Williams, an intelligent, ambitious and fierce strong woman, on Ryan Murphy’s show “Scream Queens” on Fox. Zayday is driven and focused but still knows how to have fun. She is smart, with a genius IQ and doesn't like her time to be wasted with rude or uneducated people. In real life, Keke is a multi-talented artist, dipping her toes in the music industry, but really making her name in acting. However, she recently impressed us not only with her beautiful voice, but with her Spanish skills as well.

Palmer was at Comic-Con in San Diego, when Dish Nation approached her and in an interview asked her about her favorite song for karaoke, the one she totally nails. Keke didn’t think twice before she burst into singing and gorgeously did the chorus of Selena Quintanilla’s “Amor Prohibido.” The interviewer, however, had no idea what that song was, so he asked Keke. We loved the way she replied so casually, as if that song is one that everyone should know about. And we agree Keke!

Keke started her career at a young age with an appearance in “Barbershop 2: Back In Business” and shows like “Cold Case,” “ER,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Tyler Perry’s House Of Payne,” among others. She also player Nikki Grady on “Madea’s Family Reunion.” But it wasn’t until she was 14 years old, when Palmer landed the lead role in Nickelodeon’s show “True Jackson, VP,” earning $20,000 per episode and thus becoming the fourth highest-paid child star on television at the time. She also performed the theme song, “Change it up.”

She then went on to appear on shows like “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” “Key & Peele,” “90210,” “Greys Anatomy,” “Masters of Sex,” “Black-ish,” “Grease: Live,” and currently on “Scream Queens.” She’s also the voice of Peaches, on “Ice Age: Continental Drift” and “Ice Age: Collision Course.” Just this month, she released a music video for her song "Many Things."
