Ivanka Trump’s former best friend from high school has finally decided to break her silence, and reveal gnawing truths about the president’s daughter.

While washing dirty laundry was never on the cards for Lysandra Ohrstrom; her contrasting views with the First daughter coupled with problematic behavior are what led to their friendship turning sour. Ohrstrom also revealed how president Trump would often pass derogatory remarks that Ivanka turned a blind eye to.

“Throughout our friendship, there were so many instances where her dad would be behaving in a way that was so inconsiderate to other people and I would just think to myself, if my father was behaving this way I'd say, 'Dad, stop it,' in front of everyone and I would challenge him to behave better, but I guess that's what separates us,” she said in an episode of The Daily Beast's “The New Abnormal” podcast on Tuesday.

Ohrstrom reportedly recalled how Trump had made unsavory comments about her weight during their interactions and often called the others in their circle by different model names.

Ohrstrom, who writes for The Observer and Huffington Post, penned a no-holds-barred article last week, giving incisive details into Ivanka's questionable behavior while they studied at elite private schools. Ohrstrom alleged that Ivanka was fabulous at covering up, and maintaining a public image that was diametrically opposite of her real “bratty” self. Labeling her “an elitist snob”, the 38-year-old journalist reiterated that Ivanka thought little beyond wealth, and refused to socialize with anyone outside her wealthy circle.

Ohrstrom’s inflammatory revelations about her former high school bestie included the latter rebuking her for her pro-Palestinian stance and instigating other girls in school to flash their breasts out the window at the hot dog man in Chapin lore. Ivanka once passed a rather snide remark dissing Ohrstrom from a neckpiece that she’d regularly wear at one point in time.

"I wear a necklace that says my name in Arabic that I got made for me at the end of my first stint in Beirut and I wear it every day and she would just make little comments about it," she said.

'And at one point, towards the end of our friendship when we were really not seeing eye-to-eye on things, she looked at me and said, "how does your Jewish boyfriend feel when you're having sex and that hits him in the face? That necklace just screams terrorism."'

Another friend to Ivanka however refuted all of Ohrstrom's claims. "It’s disappointing and sad to see people become so blinded by their partisanship that they go out of their way to attack those they know to be good people," said the friend, who wasn't named, to a DailyMail.com
