Teen Pedophile Allegedly Caught Filming Himself Performing Sex Act On Dog

A 19-year-old Scarborough teenage pedophile, Sam O'Connell, who wore a chastity belt to stop abusing children, was jailed after filming himself performing a sex act on a dog. O'Connell was sentenced to two years and four months in prison and was placed on the sex offenders register for 10 years at York Crown Court, United Kingdom on Wednesday.

O'Connell, who had a sexual interest in horses, also collected photos of children being sexually abused. He was found in possession of more than 6,400 indecent images, including pictures of children as young as two years old. The teenager confessed to a psychologist about fantasizing about boys and girls under five.

John Holby, the prosecutor, stated to the court, "He said he went to the beach and tried unsuccessfully to film children and also viewed child pornography." O'Connell tried to prevent himself from abusing children by wearing a chastity belt

The police confiscated 48 electronic devices in his home, and the chastity belt was also found. Some of the devices, including an iPhone, laptop and hard drive, were examined and O'Connell was taken in for questioning.

Forensic put O'Connell's phone under investigation, which resulted in discovering an "extreme pornographic" image of him performing a sexual act on a dog, a court heard. At the same time, he also kept "pedophile manuals" for guidance or instruction on how to attract and sexually abuse children. He confessed to detectives that he had downloaded indecent images of children, all found on his laptop and phone. The photos were classified as "Category A, B, and C."

"He told police he fantasized about having sexual intercourse with children; that when he was around children, he had sexual thoughts about them." Holby stated, "He said he was interested in children under the age of 12 and in particular children between the ages of one and five [years of age]."

O'Connell reportedly acquired the manuals from the Internet under an anonymous, encrypted browser. One of the manuals, titled "Having and Hiding a Child," was found, it shows guidance on "How to attract children for sexual abuse purposes" and hide them from the police. Another guide was entitled "How to Befriend and Molest Children."

Videos of O'Connell indulging in sexual activities with a 17-year-old boy together with a list of sexual paraphernalia, including lubricant and a collar, which he was using or planning to use with the boy was found. Also, a video of the teen sexually assaulting a dog was discovered.

The teenager was subsequently charged with 10 offenses, including making indecent images of children, possessing extreme pornography or bestiality, possessing the three "pedophile manuals," and banned or cartoon images of children.

O'Connell was sentenced to two years and four months in prison and was placed on the sex offender registry for 10 years.
