If you're looking to get an iPhone 5 without being tied up into two year contract, you better be ready to shell out the big bucks.

The iPhone 5 without a commitment with either AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile costs as little as $649.99 and as much as $849.99.

T-Mobile will join AT&T, Sprint and Verizon to support Apple's iPhone on its network.

According to an unofficial T-Mobile blog, T-Mobile stores are already receiving NanoSIM cards used in conjunction with the iPhone 5.

T-Mobile said customers who bring an unlocked iPhone to any of its stores will get an unlimited data package and can save up to $50 per month compared to AT&T. The savings are based on comparison of T-Mobile $69.99/mo Unlimited Talk, Text and Data plan against AT&T Unlimited Talk, Text, and 5GB Smartphone Data plan.

Verizon and Sprint iPhones will not work on T-Mobile's network and other iPhones may have limited functionality. Unlocked phones bought directly from Apple will work on the network.

Unlocking your new iPhone will not require lengthy paperwork or long in-store waiting hours. Instead, you can do it from the comfort of your home.

If you plug your phone to your computer and open iTunes, you'll be given the option to restore the phone to its "original settings."

Once the restoration is complete, you should see a "Congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked" message on our screen.

Users can get a Nano SIM-card from T-Mobile.
