Apparently, making the decision to go vegan is a growing trend. There are more and more people who want to stop consuming food derived from animals, to satisfy their palates with food from fruits and vegetables. Many also see veganism as a way to lose weight and live a healthy life. But how healthy is it to eat a vegetarian or vegan diet?

According to a study released in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, many vegetarians and vegan participants included a lot of processed foods in their diets, such as sugary beverages and French fries. The researchers found out that the randomly selected individuals who adhered to a plant-based diet had different results in their system.

The ones with a healthful plant-based diet, those who ate lots of whole grains, nuts, fruits, and vegetables, have better cardiovascular health, than those with an unhealthy plant-based diet, because they tended to eat a lot more sugar, juices, and refined grains.

Finding the right product for your diet in the market is difficult, but as always, we guide you on the right path and introduce to you three perfect foods to replace meats and fish.
