Floyd Mayweather Jr. has accomplished so much in his boxing career and is officially undefeated. He is a former five-division world champion and won world titles at super featherweight, lightweight, junior welterweight, welterweight and junior middleweight. He is 50-0, something he accomplished when he defeated UFC star Conor McGregor in a boxing match in August 2017. He would retire not long after.

On record, Mayweather is undefeated though there are critics who feel his run pales in comparison to other boxing greats such as Muhammad Ali and Rocky Marciano. He pointed out how Ali suffered defeats during his reign and questioned how many world champions Marciano beat. Mayweather pointed these things out when he appeared at the Club Shay Shay podcast of Shannon Sharpe.

"Out of all these guys in the history of boxing, I have accomplished more than every fighter in the history of boxing. How many world champions have Rocky Marciano beat? So we already know, I beat more champions that’s going in the hall of fame," Mayweather said.

Other than that, Mayweather admits he is annoyed with talk that his boxing run was eclipsed by WBC strawweight champion Wanheng Menayothin of Thailand. Menayothin is now 54-0 and is set to improve his run to 55-0, Boxingscene reported.

"I said, ‘Y’all telling me about this fighter that fought one world champion?’ He’s 54-0 and only beat one world champion? This is who y’all are trying to call TBE? Okay, y’all are some comedians," Mayweather said.

At 43-years-old, there is no question that Mayweather will go down as one of the best boxers the world has seen. Some still want to see him back in the ring, particularly against Manny Pacquiao. Though he has teased of being open to it if big money is on the table, most are advised not to raise expectations.

For now, Mayweather is content being a full-time promoter and trainer. However, returning to the ring has not been entirely crossed out. The Flamboyant One said he would be open to facing McGregor or even Khabib Nurmagomedov if he would get at least $300 million for it. Money is the only thing that can draw back Mayweather, yet another area that most are debating right now.
