Pitbull and Becky G have teamed up once again to bring to life the official song of the 2016 Copa America. The great news was revealed early this week when the Copa America Centenario Local Organizing Committee (LOC) announced that the two artists produced the official Copa America Centenario tournament song titled "Superstar."

We saw this coming as the Mexican-American songstress teased her fans with snippet of the track on her social media.

"I'm so blessed to be collaborating with my longtime friend and supporter Pitbull on Superstars,” said Becky G, according to LAGalaxy. “I grew up watching the Copa America with my Grandfather, so to say I'm excited to perform at this world-class soccer event, in my home country, is an understatement!”

Pitbull, who also reigned the 2014 FIFA World Cup with his song "We Are One (Ole Ola)" featuring Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte, feels honored to be in charge of the official centenario jam. "Music is universal and soccer is the world's sport," said Pitbull. "It's an honor to be a part of Copa America Centenario and collaborate with Becky G on Superstars." Listen to it below!

On the other hand, Colombian urban singer J Balvin, who is making the rounds with his new single "Bobo," has been invited to kick off the 2016 Copa America opening ceremonies along with two other great music acts, Magic! and Jason Derulo.

The high-energy performance, featuring the "Ginza" singer, will begin at 6 p.m. PST ahead of the 100-year Copa America anniversary game between host nation United States and Colombia at 6:30 p.m. PST in the Levi's Stadium. The opening ceremonies and match will be televised live on FS1 and Univision.

Copa America Centenario features two confederations -- Conmebol and CONCACAF. Other highlights include a reunion between 2015 Copa America finale teams Argentina and Chile and a Gold Cup 2015 final rematch between Mexico and Jamaica.

Copa America Centenario, hosted in the United States for the first time ever, will run from June 3-26, with a total of 32 matches. The opening game, U.S. vs. Colombia, will be simultaneously broadcast on all three networks: Univision, UniMás, and Univision Deportes Network (UDN).
